William Leicht

William Leicht, 90, Zion, passed away May 25, 2013 at Winchester House. Born April 13, 1923 in Waukegan to Isadore and Katherine Leicht. On September 27, 1947, Hurley, WI, William married Rosemary Heropkie. Survived by wife of 65 years, Rosemary Leicht; children, Don Leicht, Carol (James) Benson, Dennis Leicht; brother, Clarence (Sandy) Leicht; sister, Ruth Behnke; grandchildren, Donny (Jamie), Daniel (Janene), Alissa, Christina, Diedre, Tina, Jason, Josh, Jesse, Ashley, William (Paola); great-grandchildren, Beckham, Brooklyn, Brittany, Brandon, Brianna, Aubree, Mekhi, Mia, Ahnissah, Jaylyn, Zachary, Troy, Drew. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Albin and John Leicht.

William was a volunteer Fireman for Bonnie Brook Fire Dept. He was a butcher from age 15 to 62 yrs; loved fishing, gardening, roses and his grandchildren.

Memorial services, Thursday, May 30, 2013, 11am, WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee with one hour of visitation prior to services. Interment, Warren Cemetery.
