Virginia Frieden

Virginia Mae Frieden, 87, of Zion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born on September 26, 1921 in Waukegan to the late Allan Henderson and Lettie Pennock-Henderson. She married Ralph E. Frieden on June 21, 1941 who preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Gary (Jane) Frieden of Downs, IL, two daughters, Pam Niemi (Dan Labus) of Waukegan and Debbie Kincaid (Doug Feeney) of Beach Park. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Douglas (Nerma) Frieden, Valerie (Michael) Bishop, Chad (Suzanne) Niemi, Jason Niemi (Fiance-Laura Bentz), Christopher Kincaid (Amanda), Tyler Kincaid (Kelsey), five great grandchildren, Nadia, Esma and Mia Frieden, Hannah and Jacob Bishop. Virginia loved to dance, garden and enjoyed sharing her love with many dogs throughout her lifetime. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm with one hour of visitation prior to services on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Warren Funeral Home, Gurnee. Inurnment will take place at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation or Save-A-Pet.
