Tremaine "Munchie" Taylor, 36, of Zion went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Waukegan. He was born on December 24, 1972 in Waukegan. He leaves to cherish his loving family, wife of 20 years, Felicia; children, Marcus Marshall, Michael Marshall, Mariah Taylor and Myesha Taylor all of Waukegan; mother, Linda (Raymond) Mayfield of Zion; grandmother, Hazel Edrington of Waukegan; brothers, Shawn Taylor and Kwantez Taylor both of Zion; granddaughter, Jaida Marshall; sisters-in-law, Jessie Gonzales of Kenosha and Gina Gonzales of Gurnee; brother-in-law, Eddie (Kristina) Gonzales of Zion; mother-in-law, Patricia Gonzales; father-in-law, Edward Gonzales; a very special aunt, Lizzie Armstrong and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Bettie Taylor; paternal grandparents, Rosie and Postel Mayfield; brother, Anthony Craigen and uncle, Addison Taylor. Munchie was a family man. He loved being a husband to his wife and a father to his children. We are all going to miss him. A visitation will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ernest Taylor officiating from Word of Life Ministries in Beach Park. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
