Tina Rodriguez

Tina Marie Rodriguez, 54, of Fox Lake, went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2016 at Journey Care Hospice in Woodstock. She was born on August 9, 1962 in Chicago. On March 24, 1984, Tina married the love of her life, Rogelio Rodriguez. Tina loved and lived for her family, especially her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed listening to songs by Engelbert Humperdinck, and loved to host her annual Luau parties, where she would totally decorate the whole house inside out. Tina worked for 15 years at Brown Paper Goods in Waukegan until February 2016. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 33 years, Rogelio Rodriguez; two daughters, Teresa (Jabier) Santos and Miranda Rodriguez; five grandchildren, Lizandra Barajas, Rogelio Barajas, Brianna Santos, Layla Santos and Isabella Santos; two sisters, Carol Ann Camm and Julie (George) Shamblin; step-sister, Sherri Pote; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy Augusta (Schlitz) Eckhardt; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Walter O'Dom, and brother, John Richard Eckhardt. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Indian Hill Bible Church, 36133 N. Fairfield Rd., Ingleside, IL with Pastor John Rosol officiating. Memorial donations may be made to her family. Interment will be private.
