Terry Apostol

Terry Apostol, age 73, of Kenosha, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.  Terry was born on January 1, 1950 in the Ukraine to Josef and Sofia Apostol.  Terry immigrated to the United States when he was 5 months old with his parents and older brother Senko.

Terry served in the US Marines and then was a member of the Teamsters Union for over 35 years, most recently working at Heartland Produce in Kenosha, WI.  In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, helping them with projects around the house, pet sitting, giving rides, running errands, or anything else someone might need.  Terry found purpose and meaning in helping others.  He was also an accomplished bowler and made many friends through his bowling leagues. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and brother.  He is survived by his children, Laura (Jay) Kline and Michael Apostol.  Later in life he met Desire Collins and treated her as a second daughter.  He loved his children but his pride and joy were his nine grandchildren, Kaylee Apostol, Ally Kline, Andrew Kline, Leah Kline, Mason Collins, Carson Collins, Danny Folta, Tyler Klemm, and Zachary Klemm.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11 from 10-11am at Joy! Lutheran Church located at 749 S. Hunt Club Road in Gurnee, IL with a service immediately following at 11am.  Everyone is invited to a luncheon after the service.
