Sue Ellen Biederer, 55, of Wadsworth, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. She was born on April 28, 1954 in Macomb, IL. On November 28, 1987 in Lake Villa, Sue Ellen was united in matrimony to Raymond F. Biederer. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Raymond; mother, Berniece M. Duke of Blandinsville, IL; brother, Gary L. (Maria) Duke of Huntington Beach, CA; nephews, Brian L. (Diana) Duke of San Diego, CA and Eric Duke of Tustin, CA; great nephew, Micah Duke and great niece, Kaitlyn Duke; step-children, Anthony Scott (Debbie) Biederer of Germany, James Keith (Roberta) Biederer of Lake Ville, Brenda Biederer of Ohio and Roberta JoAnn "B.J." Swatensburg of Tupelo, MS; six step-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Duke. Sue Ellen graduated from Northwestern High School in 1972. She attended Illinois Wesleyan College in Bloomington, IL where she completed her Bachelor's Degree and she then attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL and received her Master's Degree. She loved music, was a talented pianist and accompanist and was a lover of nature especially flowers. She was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church of Blandinsville, IL and a member of the honorary sororities Delta Omicron and Kappa Delta Pi. Family and friends may meet on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Greene officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Blandinsville, IL or the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion, IL in memory of Sue Ellen Biederer.
