Steven Corey Gonzalez, 39, of Beach Park passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at University of Chicago Hospital. He was born April 4, 1972 in Waukegan. On January 20, 2007, Steven married Karina Huerta.
Survived by his loving wife of 4 years, Karina Gonzalez; mother, Dawn Gonzalez; father, Hector (Diana) Gonzales, son, Steven Gonzalez; daughter, Tina Runnels; brother, Charles Waste; sister, Dawn Crews; nieces and nephews, Evan, Joseph, Cheyenne, Crystal, Alfredo, Mauricio and Joshua.
Steven was the biggest Viking fan that ever lived, was a very talented tattoo artist, loved music, concerts and called everyone "Chief."
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 7:00pm at First Baptist Church of Waukegan, 401 N. Genesee St., Waukegan with Pastor Ken Fielding officiating. Interment at a later date at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Arrangements entrusted to WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
