Senior Elder Charlotte Diane Hodge, 63, of Waukegan, IL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East.
Sr. Elder Hodge was born on July 26, 1948 in Waukegan, IL to Oscar Q. and Dorothy L. (Montgomery) Pritchett. Sr. Elder Hodge was a loyal and dedicated member of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church and World Outreach Ministries where she served as an Evangelist for several year. Sr. Elder Hodge began her serving time at Word of Life Ministries in the year of 1998 under the Leadership of Dr. Apostle Ernest Taylor and Dr. Prophetess Barbara Taylor. Sr. Elder Hodge was one of the Foundation Members. Sr. Elder Hodge remained at Word of Life until her passing. While at Word of Life, Sr. Elder Hodge held several positions throughout the years as Elder over Prayer, Altar Ministry, Sunday School, Hospitality and Housekeeping. Sr. Elder Hodge was a powerful prayer warrior, and also a member of Word of Life's Praise and Worship team. She was co-owner of Quality Care Home Daycare for a number of years. She also worked for the Ann Kiley Development Center and was a volunteer for Project Hope which is an affiliate with Chicago Area Project in which she received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Sr. Elder Hodge leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter: Regina K. Hodge of Arizona; four sisters: Priscilla E. Martin of Waukegan, IL, Nanette Glass of Waukegan, IL, Denise M. Perez of Zion, IL and Theresa Porter of Waukegan, IL; one brother: James K. Perkins of Las Vegas, NV; five nephews: Todd Martin of Wisconsin, IL, Samuel McClendon of Chandler, AZ , Richard Bell of Jacksonville, FL, Willie McClendon, Jr. of Park City, IL, John Glass of Iowa and Richard Perez of Zion, IL, Alphonso Pritchett, Reginald Pritchett, Bryan Pritchett, Shawn Pritchett of Waukegan, IL; nieces: Thee Martin, Kimberly Martin of Memphis, TN, Lacechia McClendon of Zion, IL, Tanika Martin of Killeen, TX, Akelia Glass of Waukegan, IL, Winter Perez, Danielle Perez of Zion, IL, Kiyoko Porter, Alishia Perkins, Amber Perkins of Waukegan, IL, Charnette Perkins of DeKalb, IL and Valarie Bell of Waukegan, IL, Rene Lowery of Washington, DC and Felicia Bell-Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa Pritchett of Waukegan, IL; one aunt, Carol Beasley of North Chicago, IL and one uncle, Franklin Montgomery of North Chicago, IL; one special friend: Michelle Campbell of Zion, IL and a host of family, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Q. Pritchett and Dorothy L. (Montgomery) Pritchett, grandparents, Reverend Dewey and Elsie Montgomery, one brother, Oscar Q. Pritchett, Jr., one sister, Darlene Ballentine, and one nephew, Rashied Martin. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Word of Life Ministries, 10215 W. Beach Road, Beach Park, IL 60087. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the church with Apostle Ernest Taylor and Prophetess Barbara Taylor officiating. Burial at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Arrangements entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, Gurnee, IL.
