Shirley Waring

Shirley May Waring, 78, of Gurnee, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born on November 8, 1930 in Chicago. On February 21, 1964 in Chicago, Shirley married Fred A. Waring who passed away on August 25, 2000. She is survived by her six loving children, Marsha (Bill) Johnson, Christine Pretzer, Joseph Kolar, Robert (Marianne) Waring, Bambi (Brent) Nichols and Fred Waring; ten grandchildren, Heidi Pretzer, Bill (Heather) Johnson, Walter (Tania) Pretzer, Logan Nichols, Cody Waring, Shelby Nichols, Ashley Waring, Levi Nichols, Kayla Waring and Halie Nichols; seven great grandchildren, Kristin Pretzer, Kyle Carlson, Jeremy McCaslin, Jayden Pretzer, Nolan Johnson, Ella Johnson and Ryann Pretzer; two brothers, Dennis (Mary) Burnette, Randall Burnette and two sisters, Charlotte (Ron) Miller and Janice (Mike) Rice. Family and friends may meet on Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm at the funeral home on Sunday with Pastor Ralph Warren officiating from Lake County Baptist Church in Waukegan. Interment will be private at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
