Shirley Stimac

Shirley A. Stimac, 74, of Wildwood passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on April 28, 1935 in Waukegan to the late Ben and Helen (Maki) Lundquist. On October 17, 1953, Shirley married Michael D. Stimac, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Michael; daughter, Sue Stimac; son, Mike Stimac all of Wildwood; brother, Daniel (Bonnie) Clark; sister, Patricia Dorn and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was a member of the Lindenhurst Women's Senior Center where she exercised and enjoyed the company of many friends. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading and gambling at casinos. She also loved to spoil her special dog, Dusty. Family and friends may meet on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 4-8 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 2 pm with one hour visitation prior to services. Interment will be private.
