Shirley Brown

Shirley May Brown, 71, of Beach Park passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at home in her husband's arms with her family by her side. She was born on September 14, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Lucy Hubble. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Howard Brown; children, Joseph (Diane) Ellis of St. Louis, MO, Pamela Brown of Beach Park, Ronald (Angelita Arispe) Ellis of Zion and Larry Brown of Racine, WI; sister, Wilma Weathers of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Michael Brown, Chris, Mark, Rhonda and Michael Ellis and Zoe Brown; three great hrandchildren, Jordyn Brown, Amanda Chon and Brandon Moore and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Shirley enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crafts, was born to shop and loved spending time with her family. Family and friends may meet on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm at Warren Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm at the funeral home following services with Elder Henry Peel and Dr. Eleanor Phifer officiating. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
