Sherry R. Ayen, 56, of Park City passed away suddenly on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on February 15, 1956 in Chicago to Lyle Kramer and Renae Meyers. On February 6, 1981 at the Unification Church in Evanston, Sherry married Allen Ayen. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Allen Ayen of Park City; two sons, Aaron Ayen of Rockford, Warren Ayen of Lombard; mother, Renae Meyers of Skokie; aunt, Arlyne Marks of Skokie; one brother, Blair (Marlene) Kramer of Skokie; one niece, Rebecca Eden (Greg); very special friends, Gia Edwards and her two children that Sherry loved as her own grandchildren, Seth and Lexi Edwards all of Park City, Ray, Dennis, Brian and her companion, her rat terrier dog, Patches. She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Kramer; one sister, Lori Eden; brother-in-law, Ronald Marks and her beagle dog, Shona. Sherry enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, sewing, swimming, cooking, collecting wind chimes, magnets and crystal. She loved dolphins, going to the Baraboo Circus in Wisconsin, going to Antique shops, Niagra Falls, Amish Acres and traveling to the car museum in Michigan. We love her and will miss her deeply. Funeral services are, Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Warren Funeral Home with one hour of visitation prior to services at the funeral home. Rabbi Gerald Schechter from Tikvah in Grayslake will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Memorial donations may be made to her family.
