Sean Sawyer

Sean A. Sawyer, 43, of Zion passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 26, 2009 in Waukegan. He was born on April 5, 1966 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts to Russell and Verona (Preston) Sawyer. He is survived by his loving wife, Brandi Ramirez-Sawyer; seven children, Christopher Reynolds, Nicole Ramirez, Justin Sawyer, Kaleigh Sawyer, Valarie Sawyer, Brandon Closson and Lorelei Sawyer; mother, Verona Sawyer; maternal grandmother, Ruth Preston; mother-in-law, Silma Ramirez, four sisters, Dina (Michael) Schlack, Keli Sawyer-Bandoske, Erin (Sean) Hartney and Tara (Michael) Luzader; sister-in-law, Michelle Ramirez; eleven nieces and nephews, Leslye, Samantha, Neal, Ryan, Luke, Miranda, Quin, Payton, Preston, Paige and Jamie. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Sawyer, grandfather, Harold Preston and father-in-law, Alex Ramirez. Sean loved his children, music, the ocean, lighthouses and cooking was an art to him. He was a die-hard Cubs, Bears and New England Patriots fan. Sean had an incredible sense of humor and will be greatly missed. A visitation will take place on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 4-8 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Interment will be private.
