Scott Pocius

Scott Edward Pocius, 52, of Wadsworth, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at home. He was born September 17, 1963 in Waukegan. He is survived by his loving family; mother, Eleanor (Heinzman) Pocius; brother, Steven Pocius and niece, Jade (Tom Melcher) Lind. Scott attended Woodland Grade School and later graduated from Warren High School in 1981. He was a Boy Scout in Troop # 71 in Wildwood for many years and an Eagle Scout. Scott was President of Ridgefield Builders which he started, owned and operated since 1982. He was a General Contractor building many homes and commercial properties in Southern Wisconsin and Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 13, 2016 at WARREN FUNERALHOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL with visitation from 10:00 am -11:00 am. Interment will be private at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save-A-Pet or St. Francis Animal Shelter in Kenosha, WI.
