Sandra Parisi

Sandra Parisi, age 83 of Gurnee passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Janice Klein, and her ex-husband Gary Parisi.

She is survived by her children, Andrea (Tony Hauser) and Heather (Jim Foszcz); her grandchildren, Lucas and Bryan Foszcz; her brother, William Klein (Barbara) and nieces, Kristin (Alex Sammut) and Lauren (Paul Mow).

Sandra was raised in Round Lake, Illinois, and graduated from Round Lake High School.  After co-managing Cedar Lake and Sherwood Parks in Lake Villa, Illinois she had a long career at Pickard China in Antioch, Illinois.  Sandra enjoyed travel, golfing, gardening, sci-fi movies, politics, trivia, and socializing with her friends.  She was a lover of animals, who rescued many animals in need throughout her lifetime.

The family would like to thank Dr. Syed Ahmed and his staff, Integrated Hospice, and Sandra’s kind caregivers for their compassionate care, as well as her many friends who brought a smile to her face with their visitations throughout her illness.

At Sandra’s request, there will be no memorial service. Please honor her memory by making a donation to Wright-Way Rescue, Kindred Kitties, or another animal rescue of your choice.
