Ruth Wendricks

Ruth Ann Wendricks, 83, of Wadsworth passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan.

She was born on May 30, 1936 to James and Katherine (Householder) Bisland in Waukegan, IL.  On March 12, 1955 she married Dennis Wendricks in Waukegan, IL.  He preceded her in death on December 12, 2010.  She was a member of the Zion Moose Lodge, enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, and horses, but her greatest love was for her family.

Ruth is survived by her children; Ronald (Susan) Wendricks, Kelly (Edie) Wendricks, Patrick (Betty) Wendricks, Caryn (Robert Snyder) Wendricks, and Jeff Wendricks, her grandchildren; Brandie Wendricks, Alan Wendricks, Tiffany Grahn, Alyssa Kaye, Derek Kaye, Johnathon Wendricks, Justin Wendricks, Jeremey Wendricks, and Brenna Wendricks, 11 great grandchildren, and her sister Kathie (James) Casey.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis, her parents, her sister, Nancy Eckquist, and her brother, Robert Bisland.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 and again from 10:00 A.M. to Noon on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday at the funeral home.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
