Roy J. Fugelseth, 73, of Round Lake Park, IL passed away November 20, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 14, 1942 in Chicago. On November 26, 1966 in Chicago, Roy married the love of his life, Eileen Wellehan. Roy loved his family, especially his 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was a US Air Force Veteran, enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Cubs fan. Roy was most proud of being awarded the "Million Mile Award" for not having any traffic accidents or moving violations as a semi-truck driver. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Eileen Fugelseth; children, Jeffrey (Christine) Fugelseth, Todd, Sr. (Jennifer) Fugelseth, Kristin (Ryan) Crockett; grandchildren, Kathryn, Travis, Todd, Jr. and Addison Fugelseth, and Grace, Claire and Charles Crockett; great granddaughter, Emily Fugelseth-Rose; brothers, Sigurd Fugelseth, Edward, Sr. (Theresa) Fugelseth, Robert, Sr. (Barbara) Fugelseth; brother-in-law, David (Patricia) Wellehan; nieces and nephews, Denise, Desiree, Edward, Jr., Robert, Jr. (Sarah), Sharon (Zachary), Tracy and David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sigurd and Martha (Pozorski) Fugelseth, and sister-in-law, Anne Fugelseth. Visitation is Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4pm-8pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Mass will be at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11am with visitation one hour prior to service from 10am-11am (meet at the church) with Fr. John Chrzan officiating. Burial will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
