Rosemary Leicht, 94 formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 4, 1925 in Ironwood, Michigan to the late Frank and Madeline (Fudaley) Heropkie. She married William Leicht on September 27, 1947 in Hurley, WI. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2013. Rosemary loved her family and lived for her grandchildren. She enjoyed many years of camping, fishing, cooking and gardening. She loved going to church and had a profound relationship with God.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Don Leicht, Carol (James) Benson, and Dennis Leicht; her sisters Betty and Patricia and brother Donald; grandchildren, Donny (Jamie), Daniel (Janene), Alissa (Nick), Christina, Diedre, Tina, Jason, Josh, Ashley, and William (Paola); great-grandchildren, Beckham, Brooklyn, Piper, Avery, Genevieve, Penelope, Ellis, Indy, Brittany, Brandon, Brianna, Aubree, Mekhi, Mia, Ahnissah, McKenzie, Lailah, Alonso, Jaylyn, Zachary, Troy, Drew, Zoey, and Luke; and great-great grandchild Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents, and sister Deloris.
The family would like to thank her St. Josephs family for the above exceptional care & love she received, especially Sister Annmarie for her voice of an angel & all the girls who cared for Rose.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation made to St. Josephs Nursing Home in her name.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a Memorial Service will be held when it is safe to do so.
Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery is assisting the family.
