Rosalie Koehler-Moore

Rosalie Koehler-Moore, 87, of Mundelein passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born December 28, 1928 in Chicago to George and Catherine (Schillinger) Ellingson. Rosalie was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a founding member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee, loved to travel, and enjoyed a glass of red wine. She is survived by her loving family; husband whom she married on September 7, 2003 in Gurnee, Kenneth G. Moore; children, Susan (Keith) Mann, William Koehler, Nancy (Gregg) Jorgensen, Patricia (Marco) Kremser, Kathleen (Drew) Tempesta, Nancy (Glenn Smagacz) Moore, and John Moore; grandchildren, Ariel (Kevin) Rose, Danielle (Charles) McDaniel, Ivy (Pete) Rasmusen, Michael Koehler, Daniel (Andria) Jorgensen, Bradley Jorgensen, Christopher Kremser, Matthew (Kelsey) Kremser, Julia Smagacz, Jimmy Smagacz, Nick Moore, and Chris Moore; great grandchildren, Cayden Rasmusen and Amelia Jorgensen; brother, Richard Rush. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harry F. Koehler who passed away in 2001; grandson, Kyle Jorgensen, and daughter-in-law, Pamela Koehler. A celebration of her life and a memorial mass will take place on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:30am with visitation one hour prior to service from 9:30am - 10:30am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee with Fr. Ray Clennon officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Interment will be private.
