Rosa Vega

Rosa L. Vega, 53, of Waukegan,IL passed away at Vista Hospital in Waukegan, IL on May 16,
2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 15, 1970 to Robelio and Rosa (Pagan) Vega. In 1989, she
met the love of her life, MIchael Class. From this reunion, MIchael Jr. and LIssette Class were
born.
Throughout her life, Rosie enjoyed playing bingo, cooking rice and lechon, and also having her
family and friends around her.
Rosie is survived by the love of her life, MIchael Class, and her two children,
Michael Class Jr. , Lissette Class and her stepson Christopher Travis, her father, Robelio
Vega, sisters Nancy , Edna and Merenda Vega, nieces Chazlin Davila , Ariella Vega, and
Yamyle Garcia ( goddaughter).
She is also survived by her godson, Julian (Eddie) Uvaldo and another goddaughter ,
Harley Zavala, and favorite aunts, and uncles from Puerto Rico, and Florida,
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Baby Vega Class, in-laws Daniel Class, Sr. and
Annette Class, maternal grandparents Rosa M. and Demetrio Pagan, and her paternal
grandparents,Manuel and Bernanda Vega, aunts Diosa Coss, Carmen Marquez, and Rosyn
Vega.
Visitation occurred on Thursday, May 25th at Warren Funeral home. There will also be visitation tomorrow, Friday, May 26th at St. Dismas Church , 2600 Sunset Avenue, from 9:15 -9:45 a.m. , and the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. .
Interment will be at Warren Cemetery, 1475 North Cemetery Road.
