Ronald Spickler

Ronald L. Spickler, 82 of Gurnee, passed away at The Village at Victory Lakes on Monday December 4, 2017.
He was born on December 13, 1934 in Freeport, IL to the late Richard and Gertrude (Raymer) Spickler. Ronald was a boiler tech in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, worked at Great Lakes Naval Hospital as a pipefitter for 20 years and at the Condell Center Club for 10 years. Ronald enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing. He married Betty Garvie on June 27, 1970. Ronald is survived by his loving wife Betty, his brother Gary (Valerie) Spickler of MN, his Niece Nicole (Alex) and their 2 children in England, Cousins Gene, Bobby (Jan) Spickler, Chrissy and Robbie and their children, Paulie and Stacey and their children, Robert and Judy LaFurge, his friends that he walked with at Gurnee Mills, especially, Gerry, along with many other Special Friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Davis United Methodist Church located at 511 E. Snyder St. Davis, IL 61019. Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service. The Family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home of Gurnee, IL.
