Ronald R. Carlton, 71 of Zion, IL passed away at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan, IL on Thursday March 15, 2018.
He was born on August 11, 1946 in Scranton, PA to the late Ralph and June (Thompson) Carlton. Ronald served in the U.S. Navy. On March22, 1969 he married the former Mariann Heilmann.
Ronald was a member of the V.F.W. of Winthrop Harbor, the NRA, The Bristol Shooting Club and the Harley Owner Group (HOG). He enjoyed hunting, archery, motorcycles and guns.
He is survived by his wife, Mariann, his son's; Patrick (Celena) Carlton and Michael (Amanda) Carlton, his grandchildren; Katti, Michaela, Shawn, Cheyanne, Nathan Carlton and Zack Tracy, His niece, Vicki (Brad) McLain.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Carlton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 31, 2018 from 10:00 A.M.to 11:00 A.M. at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Father James Merold will be officiating.
The family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
