Robin Summy

Robin Kaye Summy, 53, of Ingleside passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at home with her family by her side. She was born October 20, 1958 in Japan on a military base to Donald Weir and Helen Ione (Smith) Huff. In Lake Villa on September 4, 1982, Robin married Michael Dean Summy. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael; two sons, Michael Dean (Sheri) Summy, Jr. and Kyle Patrick (Heather Hines) Summy both of Ingleside; father, Donald Huff of MO; brother, Kevin (Shirley) Huff of Nevada; sisters, Kelly (Ray) Paschall of Lindenhurst and Mickey Scurio of Wyoming; granddaughter, Randi Love Summy; mother-in-law, Nadine Summy of Des Moines, IA; sister-in-law, Tammy Summy of Des Moines, IA; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Ruth) Summy of Leon, IA and Steve (Jane) Summy of Durango, CO; six nieces, Rachel (Fred) Kunzer, Brittany (Vince) Giacinto, Tracy (Dave) Bemis, Sheri (Dan) Thelen, Gwen (Rob) Myers and Bethany Johnson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Huff; brother, Michael Huff and father-in-law, Robert Summy. Robin was a United States Navy Veteran. She loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. Visitation is Friday, February 17, 2012 from 4-8pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11am at the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to services. Deacon Michael Penich will officiate from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
