Robert Wright

Robert E. Wright, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at his home with his family. He was born on June 1, 1953 in Jasper, Alabama. On December 6, 1985 in Round Lake, Robert married Patricia A. (nee Campbell) May. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Patricia A. Wright; children, Jessica Roland of Austin, TX, Michael Wright of Aurora, IL, Amanda (Scott) Baxter of Vancouver, Canada, Jared Wright of Gurnee, Rachel May of Austin, TX, Billy May of Gurnee, Bridgit (Ernie) Herlt of Third Lake and Robert (Kristi) May of Austin, TX; brother, Mack Wright of Alabama; sisters, Clarice (Robert) Higgins and Wanda (Rob) Diomedes both of Alabama; grandchildren, Sophie, Boyd and Campbell Herlt and William May; numerous nieces and nephews and many more extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Berta ( nee Kelsay) Wright and brother, Kirby Wright. Robert loved fishing and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed his job as manager at Tom Peck Ford in Huntley, IL where he worked for many years. Family and friends may meet on Friday, October 9, 2009 from 4 - 8 pm at Village Church of Gurnee, 1319 N. Hunt Club Rd., Gurnee. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11 am with one hour visitation prior to services at the church with Pastor Todd Habegger officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northpointe Achievement Center, 3441 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099. Arrangements entrusted to WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee.
