Robert Sooley

Robert Sooley, 83 of Grayslake, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Lake Forest Hospital.

He was born on October 4, 1936 to the late Frank and Martha (Matthews) Sooley.  On February 17, 1970 he married Zora Yonuz in Waukegan,IL.  Robert enjoyed water color painting, drawing and sketching, but his greatest love was spending time with his wife and grandchildren, especially cheer them on at sports.

Robert is survived by his wife Zora, his sons; Kurt (Rachel) Sooley and Ken (Amy) Sooley, his grandchildren; Brock, Grant, Ella, Abby, and Reed Sooley, his brother’s; Gerald Sooley, Jim (Laura) Sooley, and Mike (Julie) Sooley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers William and Roy Sooley.

Services will be private.

Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery.
