Robert Mason

Robert E. Mason, 66, of North Chicago, IL went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on May 25, 2015. He was born to the union of the late Tommy Lee Sr. and Gladys Mae Mason on September 3, 1948 in Canton, Mississippi.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 34 years Darlene Mason, three children: Otis B. Mitchell of Taylor, MI, Kenuya Mason of North Chicago, IL and Roshonya Mason of Kenosha, WI; Four grandchildren: Da'Zaria Matthews, Ke'Shon Howell, Keara Howell and Jasmine Mitchell; Two brothers: Tommy (Dorothy) Mason Jr. of Beach Park, IL, Jimmy Mason of Flora, MS. Two sisters: Earline Coleman of North Chicago, IL and Etta Hicks of Zion, IL along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Lee Sr. and Gladys Mae Mason, three sisters: Rosie Lee Mason, Earnice Mason and Louise Spencer and one brother: Willie Mason Sr.
A Celebration of His Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at the Jesus Name Apostolic Church, 150 S. Genesee St. Waukegan, IL 60085. Elder James Dawson, Officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL.
