Robert Lamontagne, Sr.

Robert Bartholomew Lamontagne, Sr., 83, of Mundelein passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at home. He was born October 31, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Winifred (Budlong) Lamontagne. He married Eva Witt on March 17, 1973 in Waukegan. He served with the US Navy for 21 years until his retirement. After the Navy he worked for the US Postal Service for 24 years. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and loved to go to the casino.

He is survived by his wife Eva; six children: Ramona Lamontagne, Patti (Rick) Zvolsky of South Carolina, Debbie (Bill) Hartman of Pennsylvania, Connie (Bill) Baker of Florida, Tammie Carpenter of Illinois, Robert Leanna Lamontagne of Illinois; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am on Saturday, May 22nd at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. Interment with Military Honors will follow immediately after the service at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee.
