Robert Bernard

Robert Charles Bernard, 93 of Vernon Hills passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Advocate Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.

He was born on November 9, 1926 to the late Charles and Hazel (Winters) Bernard in Chicago, Illinois.  Robert served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. On December 7, 1963 he married Mildred Reever in Chicago, Illinois.  He retired from Motorola after many years of working there. He enjoyed making model bird houses, woodworking and puttering around in his garage.

Robert is survived by his wife Mildred, his son Robert (Lynne) Bernard, his grandchildren; Andie, Carson, and Jensen Bernard, and his great grandson Cameron Vesneske.

He was preceded in death by parents and his sister Alice Grimshaw.
