Reynard "Tony" M. Allen, 82, of Gurnee passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Rolling Hills Manor, Zion. He was born June 6, 1928 in Clare, Michigan to the late Charles and Edith (Jordan) Allen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Laurel Allen; children, Wayne (JoAnn) Allen, Pam Allen, Belinda (Cort) Mathes, Daniel (Karen) Allen, Jill Allen, Colleen (Larry) Oliver, Sharon (Greg) Kaptur, Terry Holloway, Laurel Tama (Keith) Borg, Robin (Glen) Macintyre and Phillis (Nick) Travetto; sister, Bonnie West and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Tony was an active NRA member for many years and an avid fisherman.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd, Gurnee. Funeral services are on Tuesday at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville.
