Paul Beres

Mr. Paul Michael Beres, 65, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mr. Beres was born on August 7, 1948 in Waukegan to the late Edward and Tillie (Rygiel) Beres. He lived most of his life in the Waukegan area. Upon retiring from Best Friends Pet Grooming in Waukegan, he moved to Nacogdoches so that he could fish year round. Paul graduated from Carmel High School in 1966. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Margaret Beres, on March 6, 1993. He worked as a police officer in Waukegan from 1971-1980, and Webb City, Missouri from 1980-1982. Soon he discovered the enjoyment of working with his four-legged best friends instead. He was a pet groomer for over 30 years, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed remodeling his children's homes, as well as a being a practical joker. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Beres; sons, Jeremy (Lisa) Beres, John (Jennifer) Camara and Jason (Sarah) Camara; daughters, Kimberly (Fred) Rickert and Karen (Robert, Sr.) Altom; sister, Diane (Marshall) Philyaw; 16 grandchildren, Seth, Andrea, Kaylee, Rickie, Christopher, Robert, Jr., Xavier, Emily, Brennen, Cole, Olivia, Nickolas, Jessica, Jason, Mackenzie and Trinity; two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Sebastian.
