Patricia Huesing

Patricia A. Huesing, 81, of Wadsworth passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center in Glenview. She was born November 17, 1933 in Evanston. On May 26, 1979, Patricia married Edgar Huesing. Patricia graduated from St. Francis Hospital with her Nursing Degree, then from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL with her Masters Degree in Nursing. She worked as the Director of Nursing in ICU at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan, and also as a Clinical Director of Nursing at Midwest Palliative Care Center in Glenview. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Edgar Huesing; children, Debbie (Karel Bekker) Olk, Jim (Joy) Olk, Kathy Hawkins, Bill Olk, Patty (Doug) Elson, Michael (Jami) Huesing and Scott (Kimberly) Huesing; one brother, Charles (Cathy) Hiertz; one sister, Joan Jewell; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Lillian (Bruck) Hiertz; one brother, Jack Hiertz. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at10am at St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Ct., Glenview, IL 60025.
