Obed Mann

Obed "Obie" Leon Mann, 74, of Round Lake Park died February 18, 2010 at his home. He was born on October 21, 1935 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He married Sharon Marie on May 9, 1987 in Waukegan. He is survived by his step-daughter, Marcie (Michael) Kelly; two very special friends, Vanessa (Steven) Everett-Kotyza and Kristi "Stella" (Steve Hahnlein) Cosgrove. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Obie served in the US Marine Corps. His life's passions included fishing, hunting and caring for Boxers. Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2010 from 12:00 noon until funeral services at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Warren Cemetery, 1495 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL.
