Norman Zenko

Norman Zenko, 91, of Beach Park, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2022, at his home with his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Rose Zenko (née Nault), at his side.

He was born on March 22, 1931, in Joliet, IL to Andrew and Elma (née Ludich) Zenko.  On November 7, 1953, Norman married the love of his life, Rose Nault.

Throughout his life Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing, and even driving stock cars at Waukegan Speedway, and he was known and loved for his quirky sense of humor.  Above all else though, he loved and cherished his family.

Norman is survived by his wife, Rose; children Gerald (Cheri) Zenko, and Cheryl Meyer; grandchildren, Jenifer, Sabrina, Philip, Crystal, Cynthia, and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Querida, Seth, Sean, Brandon, Sofia, Natalie, Danny, Bella, and Arianna; and his sister, Louise Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beatrice Anchutz.

A memorial visitation will held be on Friday, April 15, 2022, beginning at 10 a.m. with the memorial service at 11 a.m., at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL.  Inurnment will follow the service at Warren Cemetery and Mausoleum.
