Nicholas F. Streicher

Nicholas F. Streicher, 73, of Salem, WI passed away Tuesday July 18, 2023. He was born
September 9th 1949, in Waukegan, IL to John and Roseanna (Bumba) Streicher. Nick was the 9th
out of 10 children and grew up in Gurnee, IL. He was a graduate of Warren High School class of
1967. After high school, Nick served in the US Army as a paratrooper. He eventually went into
the trades and was a proud member of Local #93 Plumbers Union. Nick spent many years on
the sidelines moving the chains for the Warren Football team. Nick married Kathy (Shoemake)
on February 6, 2012 and settled in Salem, Wisconsin. He enjoyed working in his gardens the
most and spending time with family was a close second.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Streicher (Salem, WI), children Denise (Chris) Gaskell (McHenry,
IL), Nicholas (Beth) Streicher (Lindenhurst, IL), Adam (Diane) Streicher (Lindenhurst, IL), and
Jessica (Kevin) Nolan (Salem, WI), grandchildren Martin (Mary) Grasswick, Clinton Middleton,
Conway (Stephanie) Middleton, and Chandler Middleton, Danielle Gaskell, Christyn (Michael)
Hollingsworth, Nicholas Gaskell, and Mitch Gaskell, Nathan Streicher, Wrenna Streicher,
Savannah Streicher, Nicholas Nolan, Michael Nolan, and June Nolan, Brother Michael (Kathy)
Streicher (Gurnee, IL). He was also loved dearly by his great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
and many friends.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Lori Middleton, parents, and siblings – John,
Edward, Richard, William, Martha, Mary, Maragret (Peggy), Thomas.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 25th, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.  The entombment will follow at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
