Mildred L. Lundeen, 85, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Waukegan, IL passed away March 13, 2016 at Palm Garden in Port St. Lucie, FL. She was born November 1, 1930 to Walter and Mildred Powers. Mildred worked and retired after 35 years of service at Abbott Labs. She enjoyed gambling, dancing, singing, and traveling to Las Vegas as well as many other places. Mildred loved to sing "You Are My Sunshine," and she truly was "Our Sunshine." She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (William) Zehrung and Honey (Johnny) Lewis; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Zehrung, Joel (Adrienne) Zehrung and Fred Lundeen; great grandchildren, Grant, Norah, Mason, Daphne, Piper and Lana, Zehrung, and Neveah Lundeen; brothers, Bill Powers, Don (Lydia) Powers and Roger (Delaine) Powers; sisters, Sherry Hacke, Wanda (Wayne) Christian and Roberta Styles; brother-in-law, Robert Cudworth; sister-in-law, Allene Powers, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband and father of her children, Fred Lundeen; son, Jay Lundeen; brothers, Jay, Ben, Tom and Jerry Powers, and Freddie Fletcher; sisters, Aplina Powers and May Cudworth. Services were held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at WARREN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brian Walter officiating. Burial followed at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago.
