Mildred Flurry

Mildred E. Flurry, 78, of Beach Park passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at home with her family by her side. She was born on September 4, 1931 in Long Cove Trinity Bay NFLD, Canada to Thomas and Emma White. On December 4, 1955 in Waukegan, Mildred married Doyle R. Flurry. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, husband of 54 years, Doyle; daughter, Gloria (Dave) Swanson of Beach Park; granddaughter, Tonya (Tom Cunningham) Biesel of Kenosha, WI and great granddaughter, Hanna Nichole Biesel. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert White and sisters, Sally Gosse and Rhoda Warren. Mildred loved spending time with her granddaughter, Hanna. She also loved fishing and playing the drums with the Nationwide Band in Beach Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am after the visitation. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee.
