Mikel Fabecich

Mikel Vincent Fabecich, age 64, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 22, 1957, to John and Gloria Fabecich (Sidor).

Mike has a large loving family that he enjoyed spending time with. He was a good dad who loved the outdoors. He shared that love with his children, family and friends through the sport of fishing. One of his favorite pastimes, was sharing old memories of him and his buddies fishing on Lake Michigan. He loved the Chicago Air and Water Show. He was a hardcore Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He also enjoyed mushroom picking, camping, a great drive-in movie and a good thrift store find.

Mikel is survived by his son, Mikel Fabecich Jr. (Jennifer); stepdaughter, Susan Dingillo (Joe); grandchildren, Thomas Ivandic and Sandra Dingillo; sister, Constance Medina-May (Richard); his uncle Albin Sidor, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and John Fabecich; his brother John Fabecich; and his sister Roxann Fabecich-Prather.

Mike was a kind, caring and compassionate soul. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with the memorial service at 2 p.m., Father James Merold presiding.  Inurnment will be private.
