Mark Matthewson

Mark Erik Matthewson, 29, of Waukegan, IL, formerly of Goose Creek, SC died May 18, 2010. He was born in Washington DC on March 25, 1981. He is the son of Timothy and Rev. Patricia Matthewson of Goose Creek, SC; three sisters, Linda (Mark) Horton of Carlsbad, NM, Misty (Jim) Dunahoe of Summerville, SC and Barbara Edwards of Jasper, AL; one brother, Scott (Patricia) Edwards of Summerville, SC; three nieces, Rachel and Leah Horton and Tricia Johnson; five nephews, Allen and Phillip Barber, Scott, Kenneth and Allen Michael Edwards; one aunt, Mary Genzler and uncle, Bill; three cousins, Megan, Jennifer and Andrew and two uncles, Dan Matthewson and Brian Matthewson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Matthewson. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 3pm until 5pm at First Church of the Nazarene, 3132 North McAree Rd., Waukegan, IL. A memorial service will be at 5pm after the visitation at the church with Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. Interment is private. Mark attended Waukegan High School and earned Eagle Scout with Troop #665. Arrangements entrusted to WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL.
