Marisol Portillo

Marisol Portillo, 27, of Waukegan died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Wauwatosa, WI after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 28, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her loving family, parents, Ascension Cruz and Maria Colon; brothers and sisters, Eric (Sandra) Portillo, Maribel, her twin sister, (Joseph Macrowski) Portillo, Fidel (Ellen Gomez) Portillo and Anahis Cruz; maternal grandmother, Ramona Colon; fiancé, Paul Booth; nieces and nephews, Caleb Portillo, Kayla Macrowski, Lexsiana Portillo, Chris Angel Portillo, Caitlyn Macrowski and Eric Portillo, Jr. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Angel Arce Colon. Marisol enjoyed playing darts, loved her nieces and nephews and loved living her life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. Funeral services will take place on Saturday following the visitation at 12:00 pm with Pastor Abraham Zelada and Uncle Miguel Arce officiating. Interment will be private.
