Marion McCaughey

Marion Lee McCaughey, 72, of Wauconda, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born on October 11, 1943 in Evanston to Raymond John and Doris Marion (Landeck) Morby. She is survived by her three loving children, Dorie (Don) Hoevel, Julie Knesley and Steve (Kerry) McCaughey; eight grandchildren, Zach Hoevel, Colin Knesley, Kevin (Bailey) Knesley, Billy (Liz Rundel) Knesley, Christian McCaughey, Kaitlyn McCaughey, Braeden McCaughey and Tito Houlston; one great granddaughter, Fiona Knesley; four brothers, Steve (Patty) Morby, Art (Dawn) Morby, Raymond, Jr. (Ginny) Morby and Henry (Stephanie) Morby; two sisters, Lucy (Jim) DeVries and Leslie (John) Michelau; three sisters-in-law, Mary (Steve) Furrer, Ann McCaughey, Betty (Elmer) Fallos, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond John, Sr. and Doris Marion (Landeck) Morby; sister, Lynn Ray DeMeyer; nephew, Timothy Morby and niece, Sarah Morby. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alexander Leigh Center for Autism, 620 IL Route 31, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. Visitation is Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, Gurnee, IL. Interment will be private at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL.
