Maria Stamate

July 15, 1938 — June 19, 2017

Maria Venera Stamate, age 78, of Gurnee Illinois, formerly of Romania, passed away at Glenbrook Hospital on June 19 2017.

Survived by two daughters, Elena and Denisa Kerekes; two grandchildren, Robert Graybitz, and Dana Minculescu (Christian Ratoi); one great grandchild Antonie Ratoi. Maria was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 6-7PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Services will be at 7PM, Wednesday in the Warren Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11AM at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Rd, Niles, IL 60714. All arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Funeral Home, Cemetery, & Mausoleum.
