Margaret Stewart

Margaret Rose Stewart, 71, of Waukegan passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on November 18, 1938 in Aberdeen, Scotland to Wilfred Robert and Jean Rollo (Connon) Stewart. She is survived by her six loving children, Maria Susana Ibarra of Round Lake, Maria Elizabeth Ibarra of North Chicago, Marcelino (Olga) Ibarra-Stewart of Waukegan, Janie Parra of Waukegan, Wilfredo (Paula) Ibarra of Round Lake Park and Enrique (Sharra) Ibarra of Gurnee; fourteen grandchildren, Rosita, Luis, Sandy, Alex, Mirtha, Danny, Gaby, Jasmin, Alec, Beto, Nena, Maggie, Lindsey and Charlie; one brother, Brian Robert (Edith) Stewart of Scotland; two sisters, Irene Jean (Eddie Albert) Hampstead of England and Winifred Sandra (Bill) Laing of Scotland; nieces and nephews, Yvonne Stewart, Raymond Stewart, Diane (Andy) Kaloyirou, Shirley Grantham, Carol (Matt) Patmore and Jean Laing. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, JJ. Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She devoted her life to her family and gave a lot of love to all the lives she touched. She was the focus and strength of the family and the one to always keep us together, our rock. We will always keep her close to our hearts and mind, never to be forgotten. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place after the visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Gary Graf officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
