Magnus Godvik, 65, of Round Lake Beach passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Manor Care in Highland Park. He was born on November 19, 1945 in Bergen, Norway.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Olive Godvik; children, Sean (Sara) Godvik, Michael Neylon, Sheila Quinn, Margaret Neylon; brother, Erik (Betty) Godvik; granddaughters, Alison Godvik, Nevaeh Martinez and niece, Beth (Ken) Jennings. He was preceded in death by sister, Rita Godvik.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at The Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave., Chicago. Interment is private.
