Lupe Torres, 83, of Waukegan passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 23, 1927 in Mexico.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Rev. Jose; children, Frank (Emily) Torres, Alice (Paul Sood) Hutson, Rafael (Etta) Torres, Antonio Torres, Beatriz Torres, Maria (Ernesto) Figueroa, Esther (Alfredo) Hutson and Raquel Torres; 38 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Beatriz (Orozco) Pro, grandson, Tony Torres and daughter-in-law, Sandra Torres.
Visitation is Monday, September 26, 2011 from 6-8:30pm at Latin Pentecostal Church, 100 S. Chapel St., Waukegan. Funeral services Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 10am with one hour of visitation prior to services at the church. Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
