Louis Albert, 80, of Park City, passed away peacefully Monday, August 29, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 22, 1936 in Chicago to Frank and Helen (Kozma) Albert. On September 5, 1959 in Racine, WI, Louis married the love of his life, Lillian Hadady.
Louis was the Owner and Manager of Wilson Railing in Park City. He enjoyed fishing, Country Western and Hungarian dancing, and was a highly favored member of an Ornamental Metal Association (NOMMA). Louis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lillian Albert; five children, Julia (Michael) Delia, Ilona (Leo) Castillo, Louis F. Albert, Margaret (William) D'Angelo and Steven (Tracy) Albert; one brother-in-law, Tony O'Connor; thirteen grandchildren, Douglas (Onya) Jackson, Stephanie (Joshua) Lloyd, Bryan Jackson, Lauren Castillo, Alexander (Elly Rankin) Castillo, Louis (Kristie) Albert III, Kyler (Laura-Paige) Albert, Keaton Albert, Landon Albert, Teagon Albert, Korbin Albert, Jillian Albert and Aidan Albert; two nieces, Roseanne (Curtis) Clemans and Karen Gregor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine O'Connor, and granddaughter, Megan Jackson.
Visitation is Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5-8pm at Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services are Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10am with visitation from 9-10am at the funeral home with Deacon Michael Penich officiating. Burial will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago. In lieu of fresh flowers, please send plants.
