Louadell Wie

Louadell Smith-Van Wie, 81, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. She was born on March 13, 1933 in Waukegan, IL.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Van Wie; children, Robin (Tim) Martin, Lori (Shawn) Hoeksema, Sherry (John) DeRossi, Pamela (Mike) DeWitt and Patrick (Pamela) Andersen; son-in-law, Alan Van Loon; brother, Bob (Eileen) Bell; sister, Amy (Thomas) Jones; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit Bell and Aseneth (Adams) McGarrigle; first husband, Jerry Smith; sons, Ricky Smith, Larry Smith, Earl Smith, and daughter, Cathy Van Loon.

Louadell and Jack loved to travel every year to Texas during the winter. She enjoyed crafting in Missouri and playing BINGO.

Visitation is Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9:30am-11:00am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Davick officiating. Burial will be at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee.
