Lonora V. Thompson, 52, of Lindenhurst died June 15, 2011 at Manor Care, Libertyville. Born September 22, 1958 in Kenosha to the late Vincent and Lucille Krome. After five years of engagement, Lonora married Donald Thompson on March 21, 1986 in Kenosha.
Survived by loving husband of 25 years, Donald; sisters, Linda (Paul) Ciarelli, Leslie (Gilbert) Gallo, Loretta (Gary) Kaddatz; many nieces, nephews and her Airedales, Ginger and Rosie.
Lonora graduated in 1976 from Tremper H.S. in Kenosha. She worked from 1977-2007 at American Fiber-Velope/I.E.C., Gurnee and from 2007-2010 at Fischer Paper, Antioch. She was a member of the Humane Society, North Shore Animal League and A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 5-7pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10am at the funeral home. Entombment at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
