LOLA MAE AHLBERG

Lola Mae Ahlberg, 102 years old, of Salem, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

She was born on May 10, 1921 in Gray, Tennessee to Edgar Curtis and Laura Belle Huggins.  She was married to the love of her life, Ahti E Ahlberg, in 1965.

Throughout her life she enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

Lola is survived by her child, Jerry Christian; Son-in-Law, Stephen Drury Sr; grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Akins, Bradley (Stephanie) Akins Jr, Jeanine (Richie) Krotowski, Georgine (Greg) Erickson, Stephen Drury Jr,; great-grandchildren, Heather (Harry) Alden, Michael Thorn Jr, Christopher Thorn, Nathan Akins, Ashley Akins, Christina Akins, Cory Akins, Cody Akins, Kevin (Bonnie) Drury, Amanda Erickson, Brandon Erickson; and many great-great grandchildren.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Ahti E. Ahlberg; daughter, Doris (Stephen) Drury, and daughter, Linda Katalinich.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 am at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL.  Entombment will follow at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL.
