Laurel Louise Allen, 89, of Gurnee passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan. She was born April 8, 1924 in Waukegan.

She is survived by her loving children, Sharon (Greg) Kaptur, Terry Holloway, Laurel Tama (Keith) Borg, Robin (Glen) Macintyre, Phillis (Nick) Travetto, Colleen (Larry) Oliver, Wayne (JoAnn) Allen, Pam Allen, Belinda (Cort) Mathes, Daniel (Karen) Allen, Jill Allen; sisters, Donita (Bill) Smith and Ione Elemendorf; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Lillian Babcox; beloved husband of 43 years, Reynard "Tony" Allen; brother, Robert Babcox and granddaughter, Tama Rachelle Borg.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 10-11am at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd, Gurnee. Funeral services are on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Chaplain John Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville.
