Kenneth O'Neal

Kenneth O'Neal was born April 26, 1940 in Mounds, IL to the late Escola and Savannah O'Neal.
Kenny was a member of First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church for 54 years (since 1960). Kenny's good works included Usher Board, Usher Board Treasurer, Van Ministry, Laymen's League, Sunday School Teacher, Men's Cook, Children's Church Staff, Assistant Sunday School Superintendant, Trustee, Men's Day Co-Chairman with, Bro. Judge Booker and Deacon Covance Cabell, and Men United for Christ member.
Kenny was a man of many talents. He never hesitated when called upon to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers. He was a foster parent to 2 young boys. His home was open to all.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Verna Grace O'Neal, their children: Linda Cobb, Jacquie Scott, Michael Cobb, Adrianne Frieson, Jacqueline Cobb, Fredrica Smith, Joseph Cobb, Zachary Thompson, Kevin O'Neal, Kenneth Cobb, and Yvette Price, his sisters Sally Owens, Ernestine Brown, Gloria Cook, Velma Holiday, Florence O'Neal, his brothers Willie Gene O'Neal, Robert O'Neal, and Shirl O'Neal, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, brothers and sister-in laws, 4 brothers in Christ: Bobby Thompson, Charles Avery, Judge Booker, and Rev. Robert B. Evans, Sr.
Kenny was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
